Announcing the DryLand-AtSea Educational Event

Get ready for sailing with the Baltimore Annapolis Sailing Club (BASC)!

Saturday, April 30, 9am
Lubrano Building in Annapolis
130 Lubrano Drive Annapolis, MD

Join BASC as we hold our first educational event ever, the DryLand/AtSea Sailing School, designed to teach beginner sailors the basics of sailing and how to be good crew on other people's boats.

DryLand is a day in the classroom, learning the basics of a boat, sailing terminology, knots and line handling, safety procedures, navigation, how a sail works, docking and rafting, provisioning, etiquette, safety, emergency procedures, and more.

Dryland will be held on Saturday, April 30th, from 9am until 4pm. Breakfast, beverages and lunch will be served. A course booklet will be given to each student.

AtSea will be a day on the water to put the classroom instructions to a practical test aboard private boat owners' boats. This will be held at various boat owner locations on Sunday May 1st, weather permitting, and various other dates that we've arranged with our participating boat owners.

The cost is $35 per person for both days. The net proceeds will be donated to Annapolis Community Boating. To register, join the Baltimore Annapolis Sailing Club for free and RSVP to this featured event, or sign up by PayPal via the link below:
